CuteyBaby in Haiti

Nanny and baby in Haiti, 2011

This week I received an unexpected email from a non-profit organization in Haiti. Turns out they have been using a hundred or so CuteyBaby modern cloth diapers we donated and want to do a fundraiser to buy more. Our answer – fundraise for something else. We’ll send you more for free.

In late 2009, the folks at CuteyBaby rounded up a bunch of returned, washed, and sample diapers to be donated. One of our interns researched worthy charities and found this place in Haiti called Children of the Promise. Their website says it all. A group of volunteers lovingly cares for dozens of babies whose parents are gone or can’t care for them. Yesterday they sent these adorable pictures of the little ones wearing CuteyBaby Modern Cloth Diapers.

I couldn’t be happier that our diapers are helping this wonderful organization. CuteyBaby will be putting together a shipment next week to help Children of the Promise. If you’d like to get involved, go to their website and check out the needs list, or make a donation.

A very special Happy New Year and sincere thanks to the devoted staff and volunteers at Children of the Promise in Haiti. You are making a real difference in the lives of these beautiful children at a time when they need it most.
